Lison has the soft, timeless shape of an ancient water jar, made small and gentle: a tall body, a narrow oval mouth and two little loops at the shoulders. The pink glaze melts over the top and fades into the raw, sand-coloured stoneware below.
Perfect for a single stem or a few wild branches on a windowsill, a bedside table or a bookshelf.

About the artist
Virginie Marie Gliozzo spent eighteen years designing ready-to-wear collections for the great Paris fashion houses before trading fabric for clay. After a professional ceramics training in Montreuil, she opened her own studio and boutique in 2024 in Montmartre – her favourite corner of Paris – on rue Francoeur, just behind the Sacré-Cœur. She works in stoneware only, building each piece by hand with coils or on the wheel, glazing it herself and firing it twice – first at 950°C, then at 1250°C. Every piece leaves the studio unique, with the small variations in shape and glaze that mark true handmade work.
