Lamarck is the largest piece in the collection: a broad-shouldered amphora tapering to a narrow foot, with chunky coiled rings hanging at each side. Left in matt, sandy white stoneware, it shows every trace of the hand that built it.
A sculptural statement for a console, a fireplace or the floor – with olive branches or completely bare.

About the artist
Virginie Marie Gliozzo spent eighteen years designing ready-to-wear collections for the great Paris fashion houses before trading fabric for clay. After a professional ceramics training in Montreuil, she opened her own studio and boutique in 2024 in Montmartre – her favourite corner of Paris – on rue Francoeur, just behind the Sacré-Cœur. She works in stoneware only, building each piece by hand with coils or on the wheel, glazing it herself and firing it twice – first at 950°C, then at 1250°C. Every piece leaves the studio unique, with the small variations in shape and glaze that mark true handmade work.
