Tertre takes its name from the painters’ square at the top of Montmartre. Slender and elegant, it rises from a narrow foot to a softly flared neck, with two loops and two little rings at the shoulders. A blush-pink glaze crowns the top; below, the stoneware is left bare, warm and sandy.
Made for one or two tall stems – a dahlia, a cosmos, a branch of blossom.

About the artist
Virginie Marie Gliozzo spent eighteen years designing ready-to-wear collections for the great Paris fashion houses before trading fabric for clay. After a professional ceramics training in Montreuil, she opened her own studio and boutique in 2024 in Montmartre – her favourite corner of Paris – on rue Francoeur, just behind the Sacré-Cœur. She works in stoneware only, building each piece by hand with coils or on the wheel, glazing it herself and firing it twice – first at 950°C, then at 1250°C. Every piece leaves the studio unique, with the small variations in shape and glaze that mark true handmade work.
