Lepic is named after the winding street that climbs the Butte past the old windmills. Built in black chamotte stoneware, it has a deep, velvety matt surface, a round body and two coiled loops at the neck.
Graphic and timeless – striking with pale flowers or dried grasses, or alone next to its white sister, Lamarck.

About the artist
Virginie Marie Gliozzo spent eighteen years designing ready-to-wear collections for the great Paris fashion houses before trading fabric for clay. After a professional ceramics training in Montreuil, she opened her own studio and boutique in 2024 in Montmartre – her favourite corner of Paris – on rue Francoeur, just behind the Sacré-Cœur. She works in stoneware only, building each piece by hand with coils or on the wheel, glazing it herself and firing it twice – first at 950°C, then at 1250°C. Every piece leaves the studio unique, with the small variations in shape and glaze that mark true handmade work.
