améthyste faceted glass vase & hurricane – purple, medium – w 30 × d 25 × h 30 cm

Carved like a gemstone, this chunky vase is mouth-blown from solid coloured glass and then hand-cut into irregular facets that play with the light. The colour is a deep aubergine purple that turns rich and glowing when light shines through it.

It works two ways: fill it with water and a loose bunch of branches, or drop in a pillar candle and use it as a hurricane for a warm, flickering glow. Beautiful on its own and even better grouped with the smaller size.

Each piece is made by hand, so size, colour and small bubbles may vary – part of its charm.
