caravane saddled horse – per piece – brown – w 36 × d 15 × h 35 cm

Caravane is a saddled ceramic horse decorated in the famous three-colour glaze of ancient China – amber, cream and green running into each other like watercolour. With its richly draped saddle and lifted head, it looks ready to set off along the Silk Road.

Striking alone or as a pair on a console, a sideboard or a library shelf. Each piece is glazed by hand, so colours, drips and small irregularities vary – that is the beauty of it.
